1 I was lucky enough to take this photo as I flew out on my way back to the US. It gives you a general overview of Sydney's landmarks, the Harbour Bridge, Opera House and Centrepoint Tower.
2 We got into Sydney at 6:30am after 21 hours of bum numbing flights starting at Boise.
You can see the Centrepoint Tower poking through the skyline and it's the tallest building in Sydney.
3 Looking over Darling Harbour to the city at 8 o'clock on a Sunday morning.
4 The Goldsbrough Mort building was originally built in 1883 and was used for wool storage. The beautiful old building has been renovated as a hotel and apartments.
5 Here's a couple of "Tommy Tourists" if I've seen one.
6 My good mate Paul flew up from Melbourne for a couple of days of rubber-necking and elbow bending.
7 The Sydney Town Hall doesn't look to shabby after being around for 120 years or so.
9 Standing at 305 meters (1000 feet), the Centrepoint Tower has the highest Observation Deck in the Southern Hemisphere.
10 If my memory serves me correct, these stairs take you up to look out over the Botanical Gardens.
11 Across the harbour to North Sydney.
12 Also over that way is Luna Park which is Sydney's version Coney Island.
13 You can even see live sharks in Sydney.
14 We found these critters down at the Rocks during the Sunday markets.
15 We stayed at the Novotel Darling Harbour. It used to be a great place to stay but their standards have slipped considerably since I last stayed there.
16 Darling Harbour is the place to hang out on the weekends.
17 Cockle Bay Wharf on the other side Darling Harbour.
